A PROFESSIONAL FREELANCE WEB DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR IN FRANCE

This is the website of freelance web designer Tom Cooney. I have been working as a web designer in France since 2007, running The Design Works from my small studio in the Creuse region of Limousin. Before moving to France I worked for over 10 years in the UK’s design industry as a graphic designer, web designer / developer and occasionally as an illustrator. I specialise in creating small to medium sized websites, illustrations, logos, flyers and stationery to very high standards for my clients across the UK and France.

In a nutshell, I like making your ideas look great! At the heart of every project I undertake is a desire to transform my clients ideas into something tangible that looks fantastic and works perfectly. Whether it be designing a logo, creating a brand or building a website, I always pay close attention to the details and am never afraid to go that extra mile to help you to deliver your message in an attractive and engaging way.

Great design needn’t cost the earth. I listen closely to the needs of my clients and create simple yet elegant designs based on tried and tested design methods. This allows me to supply my customers with beautiful and functional products that won’t break the bank.

Thanks to the internet I am able to work easily with people from all over the world and being an English web designer in France has proved to have many bonuses for both me and my clients. One such bonus is that I am able to provide my services at much lower rates than most other English speaking agencies. This is especially good news for my English clients who are able to receive the same high quality work of a UK agency but at a fraction of the cost.

Being Freelance has also allowed me to concentrate on the projects that I really want to get involved in rather than working on “just another job” this keeps me passionate about my work and always trying to come up with something “Special”.

I’ve had a hectic summer this year working on numerous projects with ISP Procom, Sipeo, FWCH and Nouvel Horizon Designs to name but a few.

It now looks like autumn is going to be just as busy so get your skates on if you’re thinking of hiring me before the start of 2012. The diary is filling up fast!
