Ken and Sue Durand wanted a bilingual (English and French) website in order to promote their gite (bed and breakfast) to potential clients wishing to holiday in the Creuse region of France.
The website is a customised Wordpress installation and benefits from many of the extras that come with using this excellent software. It also affords Ken the flexibility to update all of the website’s content himself. Other features include an availability calender and online booking form. All of the pictures used on the website where supplied either by myself or the client and this use of local photography showcases the gite and it’s surrounding areas perfectly. For the French version of the website, The translation work was outsourced to a local, professional translator.
