Shea Lolin is a freelance conductor, musician and teacher working in and around London.
As a seasoned freelancer Shea felt it was important to represent himself in a professional manner. He wanted an online presence that would reflect the high standard of his services and wouldn’t appear at all “amateurish”. He was also keen to add a personal touch to his brand and asked me to create a “Shea character” for use throughout his website and promotional material.
Working from supplied photographs I created the character that can be seen in the website’s header and sidebar. The character has also been used on Shea’s Facebook page and personalised Christmas cards.
The website itself is based on the Textpattern CMS (Content Management System) which allows Shea to update the website himself. It contains sections for each area of Shea’s work, a “latest news” section, examples of his music and contact details. It also links to Shea’s Facebook page for more regular updates to his schedule.
